Our assessment of the quality levels of used parts/products is based on many years of experience in the industry and on the function of the product/part, where function is given extra importance.
If you buy used parts from us at Rösebäcken Cykel & Motor AB, you can expect that they cannot be compared to any newly manufactured copies in terms of finish.
Our assessments of the quality of used parts
To make it easier for you as a customer, we have created an assessment template for used parts, so that you know what you are buying from us.
The last digit in an order number is the identification for the quality assessment.
1 = NOS quality, (New Old Stock) very good condition, unused.
2 = Newly manufactured
3 = Works immediately with a nice patina.
4 = Works as is, decent patina.
5 = Works, but is actually a clear renovation item.
NOTE, as a buyer you must be aware that these are mainly old parts where many are used. Which means that it is visible that they have been used, so look carefully at the pictures before you place your order.
Keep in mind that even NOS parts may have some "blemishes" from warehouse handling.
From time to time we have so-called NOS (New Old Stock) parts in our warehouse, but even these may have "defects" from having been in storage for many years, but they are not used by anyone.
When to buy a Fuel tank
All our tanks are in different conditions and we would like to call them all renovation items. We have not quality tested the tanks and therefore cannot guarantee that they are leak-proof. We recommend that you do a tank renovation with washing and Sealer to be on the safe side.
The tanks are normally sold without a tank cap and without a fuel tap. If there is a tank cap/fuel tap in the picture, they are included in the price.
If we find direct faults with the tanks, we will write about it in the product information. Please look carefully at the pictures before purchasing. "Refill".
Tips when searching for parts from us
Please take a look at our exploded views, where you can see the location of the parts and facts about the part, which can help you make the right purchase. We are constantly developing the pages with exploded views to help you find the right part.
Our part numbers usually start with two letters, which means an abbreviation of the moped or the first two letters of the motorcycle brand. Example: MO=Monark, HU=Husqvarna, ZU=Zundapp, etc.
If there is a combination UN at the end, it equals a newly manufactured universal part that can fit several different brands.
Please note that when we sell parts that require bulbs to be fully functional, bulbs are not included.
Also keep in mind that the general images we have here on our website/e-shop, image gallery from STORE and STOCK are snapshots when the images were taken. They represent a general presentation of what we look like in our everyday lives. This may mean that some of the products you see in the general images may have been sold. We refer to the e-shop to see items with stock balance and for sale.
